Gift Ideas to give Women:

Relaxation Basket
Men, this was the most popular gift, almost every female I talked to (if not every female) suggested this. Put together a "Relaxation Basket" for her. Include things like bubble bath, a bath pillow (plastic blow up water proof pillow for the bathtub, definitely useful!) scented candles, scented body lotion, a tape or CDof relaxing music (some stores sell music specifically for creating different moods), a good book and gift certificates for professional massages, manicures, facials, pedicures. Every woman is unique, add your own ideas, maybe you know of some other things your wife or girlfriend uses to relax: like maybe chocolate, or a good movie. Wrap all of these together in a basket or fancy box, it is a wonderful way to show that you care and understand that her life can be so stressful! (by the way, this a great gift idea to get any woman...your mother especially!)

Books
If she likes to read, here are some good books to get: "Everything I needed to know I learned in Kindergarten" by Robert Folgum, this is a light hearted cheery book - I haven't read it but Andrea has and she is very enthusiastic about it. Or, "Don't sweat the small stuff" by???, this book is short chapters about little things that many of us needlessly get stressed about. (Be careful with this, she may think you are trying to "give her a hint"). Or, "Chicken Soup for the Woman's Soul", this book is a collection of short stories to "open the hearts and rekindle the spirits of women". This is an easy read, and another way to show you care understand her stressful life.

Candles and Candle holder
All but one of the girls I spoke with suggested a really nice scented candle and candle holder. A nice candle will cost about $10 and the candle holder varies in price depending on your taste. Choose a candle with a really yummy scent, and I guarantee you can't go wrong with this!

Bath Time Accessories
Does she enjoy taking baths? Why not get her some scented soaps, bubble baths, and/or bath beads and a body sponge? Similar to the first idea, you can put it together in a basket and also include candles if you want.

Her Favorite Childhood book
Slyly find out her favorite childhood fairy tale and buy her a beautifully illustrated hardback copy for her personal library.

Gift-certificates for Weekends Away
The husband of someone I know gives his wife homemade gift certificates for nights or weekends at 'Bed and Breakfasts'. She loves 'Bed and Breakfasts' so he takes her there when she needs a weekend to relax. (For a little help with travel - tickets, hotels & car rentals be sure and look at Cheap Tickets We have used them in the past with GREAT results!!!)

Scrapbook of Memories
Put together a "Scrapbook of Memories". This takes a lot of work, so I suggest starting early. Collect things like movie stubs from movies you've taken her to, pictures, postcards from your vacation spots, little poems, type out the words to "your song", love letters you've sent her or she's sent you, something from the beginning of your relationship, anything that has a special memory behind it. Nicely arrange everything you gather in a photo album. Include an introduction page, with a little message for her and the date it will be presented.

Send Her Flowers
This may be an old idea but... Just a single rose or a big bouquet... Women love flowers!!! (Men do too, but most don't like to admit it.)

Sentimental Painting
Last year my sister's boyfriend found a painting of the place where they had their first kiss, he had it framed and gave it to her for Christmas. It had a lot of sentimental value to both of them...what a great idea! If you can't find a painting, take a picture and have an artist paint it for you.

A Journal
If she likes to write, get her a fancy journal. You could even get one of those new gratitude journals, go to a book store and ask for it, they should know what you mean. (another something to add to the relaxation basket above).

Old-fashion Carousel
An old fashion carousel is a good idea. These usually have horses on them and turn circles while playing music. It is something that she could put in her room as a decoration. You know your girlfriend better than I do, so it's up to you to figure out if she'd like that sort of thing.

Engraved Buy a key chain, bracelet or necklace pendent, and have it engraved. The engraving could be: "_______ loves ______", "I love you", or something meaningful between yourselves. What a great reminder of your love that will be with her all day. 

Personalized Love Story
Write her a love story with you two as the main characters...then have it bound and made into a book. 

Subscription to her Favorite Magazine
She would probably love a subscription of her favorite magazine.

Name a Star after Her
Have a star named after her. You will need to contact the International Star Registry for this. It is becoming very popular, don't get left behind!

If you are in a long distance relationship and write letters to each other, why not have some personalized stationary made for her (note paper, envelopes). Include some stamps and a fancy pen.

Poem Engraved on a Plaque
Write a poem for her and have it engraved in a nice plaque.

Does she have a special collection, like cat ornaments, or antique clocks? Get her something to add to her collection. Search around at flea market and yard sales, the more unique the better.

Dance Lessons
Sign both of you up for dance lessons together (has she ever said "I'd love to learn how to ballroom dance" or "I wish I knew how to do such and such a dance"?). Women like when the men they are with want to spend time with them, and this is a way of assuring that you will be spending time with her every week.:)

Get him a collection of CD's from his favorite artist. Or a CD that he's been wanting.

Glamour Photos of YOU
Someone I know got a professional photo shoot, and had the best picture framed for her boyfriend. She dressed up for the pictures and did her hair nicely, it really turned out well. Or better yet...
